Virtual toast Movement Wine DO Day with wines from D.O. Ribeira Sacra
Calendar of the wine sector with D.O. in Spain had an appointment this Saturday, May 9th, with the toast of #DíaMovimientoVinoDO. It would be the fourth year that this collective toast is celebrated, but the health crisis prevents its face-to-face celebration as in previous years.
From the D.O. Ribeira Sacra Regulatory Council we wanted to keep this appointment for what it means to enhance our wines and the work that denominations of origin, winegrowers and wineries carry out in the conservation and maintenance of our territories and our economic fabric.
C.R.D.O.R.S. proposes a week dedicated to the toast movement wine D.O. Day. From May 6th to 13th we want to share this collective toast and we encourage you to send us your photos, toasting with wine of the D.O. Ribeira Sacra to spread them on the networks and value the work of our winegrowers and winemakers. The most voted photos will receive prizes that will make their authors enjoy the riches of the Ribeira Sacra Wine Route, whenever possible.
Participate and Awards
To participate you only have to send a photo by WhatsApp to the phone 647 59 57 47 between 6th on May 13th. Photos that must include a toast and a bottle of wine from D.O. Ribeira Sacra will be published on the D.O. Ribeira Sacra Facebook with the hastags #BrindisMovimientoVinoDO #BrindisDORS. The 3 photos that you like the most before 23.59 on May 13th will receive a prize. On Saturday, May 16th, the winners will be published, who will receive their prizes as soon as circumstances allow them to enjoy wine tourism on the Ribeira Sacra Wine Route.
So the prizes will be for two people:
- Lunch or dinner at a restaurant on the Ribeira Sacra Wine Route
- Overnight accommodation and breakfast in an establishment on the Ribeira Sacra Wine Route
- Guided tour of the Ribeira Sacra Wine Route winery with a complete tasting of its wines
